Backblaze has a diagnostic tool called "Explainfile" which can help determine why certain files aren't backed up accurately. The following guide will walk you through how to use this tool.
1. Download the Explainfile diagnostic tool from here.
2. Once downloaded, unzip the tool to a convenient location
3. Drag and drop a single file (not a folder) that is not backing up on top of the script. (i.e. the Backblaze Explainfile icon you will find in the location you unzipped it to)
Please Note: you can not double-click the script to run it, you must drag and drop a file onto it.
4. Once the script finishes you will see the following dialogue
5. If successful, the resulting file named "bzexplainfile" will appear on your desktop.
