Disabling a Firewall
Backblaze may report that it is offline or has not backed up in a long time, even if the your computer can connect to the Internet. The most likely culprit is a firewall. Below are ways to disable popular firewalls.
Note: Backblaze does not recommend permanently disabling your firewall. If Backblaze starts to work with your firewall disabled, please work with your firewall vendor to permit only Backblaze to access the Internet while the firewall is enabled.
