If you choose the "Web Download" option, it will depend on the speed of your Internet connection. (For downloads larger than 1 GByte, use the Backblaze Restore Downloader.) Typical home cable or DSL speeds will let you download approximately 1GB per hour. Backblaze will need to prepare your files in to a zip for download, and that process is dependent on the number of individual files and file sizes. You can monitor the progress on the "My Restores" section of your account.

If you choose the "USB hard drive" option, Backblaze will ship your USB hard drive via FedEx within 3-10 days of your request depending on the size of your restore. Restores over 1 TByte may take several days per TB of data, due to the greater amount of data to be prepared, and then copied to the drive. All USB restores are prepared and shipped from the U.S., even if your data is stored in a non-U.S. data center. You can monitor the progress on the "My Restores" section of your account.
