NOTE: This FAQ applies to Backblaze for Business accounts created before January 18, 2017
When you are reviewing your usage report, you might come across a machine that has reported “client_not_seen”. This message indicates that Backblaze was not successfully installed on that machine, and is not backing up. To fix this, disable any network monitoring programs, firewalls and antivirus on your machine, then follow these steps to repair the program:
1. Go to http://files.backblaze.com and download the installer for your computer.
2. Restart the computer. DO NOT skip this step.
3. When the computer is up and running, open the installer and click install now.
Once you have done so, hold the Alt (PC) or Option (Mac) key and click the Restore Options button in the Backblaze Panel to force an immediate rescan on your machine.
