How Do I Change the Email Address Associated With My Business Account?

NOTE: This FAQ applies to Backblaze for Business accounts created before January 18, 2017

For IT Access Accounts: First you need to provide Backblaze with the new email address that you wish to have licensed. These requests can be sent to businesshelp@backblaze.com. Once Backblaze has contacted you to let you know that the new email address has been added to your account, please follow these steps:

  1. Visit https://secure.backblaze.com/user_signin.htm and sign in with your current licensed email address and password.

 

  1. Click "My Settings" on the left side navigation.


  1. Click "Change Email Address".


  1. Enter your password, and then new email address into both fields, and click "Change Email".


Please let us know when you’ve changed the email address and we’ll remove the old one from your account. Once the client updates, all backups will be attached the the new email address.

 

How Do I Change the Domain Associated With My Business Account?

For Individual Access Accounts:

First you need to provide Backblaze with the new domain that you wish to have licensed. These requests can be sent to businesshelp@backblaze.com. Once Backblaze has contacted you to let you know that the new domain has officially been licensed you should:

  1. Visit https://secure.backblaze.com/user_signin.htm and sign in with your current licensed email address and password.

 

2.   Click "My Settings" on the left side navigation.


3.  Click "Change Email Address".


4.  Enter your password, and then new email address into both fields, and click "Change Email".




Please let us know when all your users have changed their email addresses and we’ll remove the old one domain from your account.
